Update Targets Tab
This page gives you the possibility to configure the update targets by specifying for which application versions the update applies. Only the selected application versions that are already installed on the target machine will receive the update.
Adding a new application version to the list
Use the button, the “Add...” context menu item or press the Insert key while the list is focused. The New Update Target Dialog dialog will appear allowing you to specify a new application version. This corresponds with the "UpdatedApplications" key from the Updates Configuration File.
Editing an application version from the list
Use the button, the “Edit...” context menu item or press the Space key while the list is focused. The New Update Target Dialog dialog will appear allowing you to specify a new application version.
Deleting an application version from the list
Use the button, the “Remove” context menu item or press the Delete key while an element is selected.
Leave the version list empty if the update is not for a specific application version or
versions.
Target Platform
Install the update depending on the target machine architecture.
64-bit platforms (AMD64 and Intel64)
The update can be installed only on 64-bit platforms.
32-bit platforms
The update can be installed only on 32-bit platforms.
An example usage scenario is to have 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the same patch
upgrade. Setting each with the corresponding target platform option will enable the updater
to act as a mixed (32/64) package type for your patch
upgrades.
Arm64 platforms
The update can be installed only on Arm64 platforms.
Minimum version
The update will be installed only if the target OS has this minimum version.
Maximum version
The update will be installed only if the target OS has this maximum version.
